Light rail, anyone?
As light rail fans David Bickford (PHX Rail Food) and Tony Arranaga (Light Rail Blogger) have pointed out, Caffe Boa is literally just steps from the Mill Ave & 3rd St light rail station. Putting that together with the likely effects of unlimited mimosas, it seems that taking light rail to Smunch is a definite win all around.
Tracie and I will be parking at the 19th Ave & Montebello Park and Ride and leaving from that end of the light rail around 9:15am, as we like to get to Smunch a little early to make sure all is well. If anyone else wants to meet up with us at the Park and Ride or hop on along the way, let us know!
Also, if anyone is going to be riding light rail from the east side and wants to coordinate a group, that would be great too.
for the two SMUNCH I have been to I have taken the light rail for both. Living way out in Surprise its enough of a drive to get to the park and ride at Montebello, and being a rail fan, and supporter I like taking the light rail when I can.
Will try to make the 9:15am time and join you.
